Ergonomic Chair Powerton MARIE The modern and comfortable Powerton MARIE chair is designed with a focus on health, comfort, and ergonomics. Synchro Mechanism

The synchro mechanism synchronizes the movement of the seat and backrest so that both parts move simultaneously in a 2:1 ratio. This means that when the seat moves one centimeter forward, the backrest moves two centimeters backward. This synchronized motion is adjustable and allows comfortable, ergonomic sitting. It can be locked in five positions. By allowing smooth adjustment of the seat and backrest angles, it helps prevent repetitive strain injuries (RSI) caused by small repetitive movements during computer work and reduces static muscle tension by encouraging active sitting.

Adjustment of Mechanism Tension by Body Weight

The chair features an adjustable mechanism that allows tension regulation of the seat and backrest according to the user’s body weight. To adjust the tension, rotate the control knob under the seat clockwise to increase stiffness or counterclockwise to decrease it. Lighter users may prefer less tension for easier movement, while heavier users may need higher stiffness to maintain correct posture. Setting the tension properly ensures optimal ergonomics. The adjustable armrests improve comfort and arm support. They can be adjusted in three directions – height, depth, and angle. Height adjustment ensures proper shoulder alignment, depth adjustment positions the arms optimally relative to the backrest, and angle adjustment minimizes wrist and elbow pressure.
