High Resistance and Rough Surface
PLA is always the most popular among FDM technology users thanks to its exceptionally easy printing. The drawback of conventional PLA-based filaments is their relatively low thermal resistance, often reaching only 50–60 "C in non-crystallized prints, which significantly limits their practical use. As a result of several months of testing and implementation, a new filament Spectrum GreenyHT was developed based on a high-performance biopolymer with a softening temperature of up to 100 "C and thermal resistance up to 90 "C. Besides improving thermal properties, the original mechanical properties of the plastic were preserved, so Spectrum GreenyHT contains no plasticizers. Moreover, in terms of stiffness and hardness, it significantly outperforms classic PLA grades. Despite modifications, Spectrum GreenyHT remains fully biodegradable and compostable under industrial conditions defined by the EN 13432 standard. Its biobase comes from GMO-free sources. The material also meets the requirements for food contact. Additionally, Spectrum GreenyHT filament is visually characterized by a rough surface. Surface irregularity and matte appearance effectively mask layers and significantly increase the aesthetic value of printed models.
