Color Changing Ability
Thermoactive PLA is a filament based on pure PLA mixed with a thermochromic pigment. Thanks to this extremely original additive, 3D printed objects change their color depending on temperature. Once the surface temperature of the object exceeds 30"C, the color changes from red to cream. When the object returns to its initial temperature, the previous color gradually restores.
Due to the thermochromic pigment, printed items gain the following features:
- Ability to change color from red to cream when the surface of the printed object heats up
- Adjustment of the color change speed depending on the wall thickness of printed items
