No More Glossy Surface

PLA MATTE is a material with a chemically modified composition to achieve a matte surface finish on printed objects. The modifications in filament composition have resulted in improved mechanical properties, including impact resistance, flexibility, and durability compared to items printed with standard PLA. Additionally, the use of additives has not only enhanced impact resistance and reduced brittleness but also enabled increased thermal resistance (about 75"C).


With these properties, PLA MATTE applications are mainly focused on showcasing visual aesthetics, such as industrial design prototyping for concept visualization and demonstrating design variants of constructions. It is also used for interior design purposes and architectural models.
