High Durability and Rough Surface
PLA is always the most popular among FDM technology users due to its exceptionally easy printing.
The downside of conventional PLA-based filaments is their relatively low heat resistance, often reaching only 50–60 "C in non-crystallized prints, which significantly limits their practical use.
As a result of several months of implementation testing, the new Spectrum GreenyHT filament was developed based on a high-performance biopolymer with a softening temperature of up to 100 "C and heat resistance up to 90 "C.
In addition to improving thermal properties, it was also important not to deviate from the original mechanical properties of the plastic, so Spectrum GreenyHT contains no plasticizers.
Furthermore, it significantly surpasses classic PLA grades in stiffness and hardness.
Despite the modifications, Spectrum GreenyHT remains fully biodegradable and compostable under industrial conditions defined by the EN 13432 standard.
Its biobased content comes from GMO-free sources.
The material also meets food contact requirements.
Additionally, Spectrum GreenyHT filament visually features a rough surface.
Surface irregularities and a matte appearance effectively mask the layers and greatly enhance the aesthetic value of printed models.
