Heat-stabilized 30% glass fiber reinforced copolyamide
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is another addition to our line of composite materials based on technical Nylon 6. This time, the filler consists of glass fibers, which have been very successful when used as an additive to modify the properties of plastics. This type of filler is typically used to enhance mechanical performance, particularly in terms of tensile and compressive strength.
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is a filament for users who are primarily concerned with high mechanical performance, hardness, and thermal resistance in their models. Thanks to its high glass fiber content, it is a filament with very low shrinkage during processing. Interestingly, in terms of thermal resistance, Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is not inferior to the carbon fiber-filled version, offering HDT properties of up to 180 "C, making it one of the top specialized materials for desktop 3D printers.
Key Features:
- 30% glass fiber - high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance - excellent chemical resistance - heat resistance HDT – 180 "C - printable on desktop devices without a heated chamber - matte, carbon-like print surface - excellent layer adhesion
Applications:
- functional prototypes - production tools - working parts of tools and machines – rotors, gears - guides, gear racks, guide rollers - production of protective rings and plates with increased chemical and corrosion resistance
Filament Specifications:
- filament diameter: 1.75 mm / 2.85 mm - extrusion temperature: 250–280 "C - bed temperature: <80 "C - print speed: 30–70 mm/s
