Thermally stabilized 30% glass fiber reinforced copolyamide
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is another product in our line of composite materials based on engineering-grade Nylon 6. This time, the filler is glass fiber, which has gained great success as an additive for improving plastic properties. This type of filler is typically used to enhance mechanical performance, especially in terms of tensile and compressive strength.
Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is a filament for users most concerned with high mechanical performance, high hardness, and thermal resistance in their models. Due to the high glass fiber content, this filament exhibits very low shrinkage during processing. Interestingly, in terms of heat resistance, Spectrum PA6 Low Warp GF30 is not inferior to the HDT – 180 "C performance of the carbon fiber-filled version, placing it among the top dedicated materials for desktop 3D printers in this respect.
Key Features:
- 30% glass fiber - high mechanical properties and abrasion resistance - excellent chemical resistance - heat resistance HDT – 180"C - printable on desktop devices without heated chamber - matte, carbon-like printed surface - perfect layer adhesion
Applications:
- functional prototypes - production tools - working parts of tools and machines – rotors, gears - guides, gear racks, guide rollers - production of protective rings and plates with increased chemical and corrosion resistance
Filament Specifications:
- filament diameter: 1.75mm / 2.85mm - extrusion temperature: 250–280"C - bed temperature: <80"C - print speed: 30–70mm/s
